Mr. William Hughes Lovorn, 71, died at Central MS Medical Center on Thursday, April 30, 2009. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Friday, May 1, at Chancellor Funeral Home, Florence with funeral services scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. in Middleton Methodist Church cemetery, Louisville, with visitation at the Church prior to the interment from 2-3 p.m.\ \ A native of Winston County, Bill graduated from Nanih Waiya High School. He was employed by the FBI in Washington D.C. before returning to Mississippi to work for US Plywood. In 1981, he and his family started a business now known as Crossroads Distributors in Jackson, MS. He was an avid bowler and the favorite fishing companion of his grandchildren.\ \ He is survived by his wife, Joy Lovorn of Star; son, Jeff Lovorn and wife Kristy of Florence; daughter, Jill Gough and husband Sam of Marietta, GA; brother, John Lovorn of Birmingham, AL; sisters: Gara Ward of Huntsville, AL and Karen Sullivan of Brookhaven; and 3 grandchildren: Will and Sarah Lovorn and Annie Gough.\
