Bill Temple

William "Bill" Leon Temple, 92 , passed away Monday, July 23, 2012 at his home in Jackson. Visitation will be 2-4pm Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 10am Monday, July 30, in the funeral home chapel, followed by interment at Lakewood Memorial Park. \ \ Mr. Temple was a Normandy Veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was awarded the Bronze Star and the Unit Citation. He was a maintenance engineer for the State of MS at PBS.\ \ Mr. Temple is preceded in death by his parents William Curtis Temple and Thelma Hill Temple; wife, Dorothy "Sparkie" Temple; brothers, Paul, Jim and Eric Temple; sister Willa Jean Temple.\ \ Survivors include his son, Daniel Paul Temple of Pearl; daughter, Amy L. Storment (Bill) of Gallatin, TN; brother, Thomas Temple of AL; sisters, Helen Temple and Thelma "Temp" Lowry of Jackson, and three grandchildren.\ \ On line guest book available at www.chancellorfuneralhome.com.\
