Mr. Billy "Bill" Thomas Robbins

Billy Thomas Robbins, 83, passed away Monday, December 29, 2014 at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 1 P.M. until the 2 P.M. Memorial Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, MS. Mr. Robbins was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Tippah County, MS. He was an award winning Gospel Singer who loved his children and grandchildren. Mr. Robbins was preceded in death by his parents, John and Annie Robbins; sisters, Louise McDaniel and Virginia McQueen; and his grandsons, Bradley Enlow and Ross Enlow. He is survived by his wife, Joy Turner Robbins of Walnut; daughter, Honey (Mike) Thornton of Pearl, MS; son, John Steven (Jean) Robbins of Biloxi, MS; brother, Bobby (Frances) Robbins of Nicholson, MS; 8 grandchildren, Matthew (Emily) Yelverton, Cole Yelverton, Carly Thornton, Eric (Sharon) Robbins, Jason (Tina) Robbins, Nicholas Massimino, Amelia Massimino, and Aaron Massimino; and 7 great grandchildren.
