Billy Joe Bulman, 81, passed into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at University of MS Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be Friday, October 16th from 5-8 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. The funeral service will be Saturday, October 17 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. The family request that the visitation and funeral service will be immediate family only, but invite the public to the graveside service at Floral Hills Memory Gardens at 3:00 p.m. Mr. Bulman was born September 28, 1939 in Philadelphia, MS to the late Milton Lee and Zelma Bulman. He retired from UPS after 40 years as a truck driver with a million miles driven without incident. He was a faithful member of Jesus Name Tabernacle and he loved the Lord and his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, and doing missionary work with the church in his free time. Along with his parents, Mr. Bulman is also preceded in death by his son, Ricky Joe Bulman; , Dorothy Jean Martin, mother of Ira Bulman and Mark Bulman; Donna Prevatte, mother of Shawn Ferguson, BJ Bulman, and Chris Bulman,; sisters, Faye Terrabone, Betty Sue Pilgrim, and Ora Vie Langdon; brothers, Tommy Bulman, James Bulman, Marcellus Bulman, and William Bulman. He is survived by his sons, Ira (Michelle) Bulman of Richland, Shawn Ferguson of Jackson, Marcus Bulman of Richland, B.J. (Kristin) Bulman of Richland, and Chris (Dana) Bulman of Florence; sister, Mary Brantley of Pearl; grandchildren, Heather K. Rast, James D. Bulman, Jacob Lord, Alexis Bulman, Sean Harvey, Jared Lord, Kinlee Bulman, Casey Bulman, Shannon Brooke Ferguson, and Ashlee Ferguson; and great grandchildren, Conner Steele, Amelia Rast, and Kaydence Sholly.
