Billy Wayne Herrington

 Billy Wayne Herrington was born in Forrest County Mississippi on August 15, 1941. He passed away in Gulfport, Mississippi on August 17, 2022. He is survived by his long-time loving companion, Connie Reynolds; sister, Annie Lois Herrington; children, Sherry (Larry) Smith, Daniel Herrington, and Laura Herrington; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He proudly served his country in the US Navy, Naval Reserve, and Air National Guard Reserve. He retired from the Mississippi State Department of Education. 

Services will be Monday, August 29, 2022 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, Mississippi. Visitation will begin at 5 PM until 6 PM and the memorial service will immediately follow the visitation.
