Mr. Billy Williams

Mr. Billy Williams, 85, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service all at Briar Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Briar Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Williams was a resident of Florence for over 30 years and was a dedicated and faithful member of Briar Hill Baptist Church. He retired in 1995 after 41 years of service with MS Valley Gas and was previously employed with the MDOT. He enjoyed watching football, playing dominos, turkey hunting and working in his yard. He loved being with family and friends. Mr. Williams is survived by his wife of 63 years, Carolyn Speed Williams; son, Randy (Cindy) Williams of Ft. Mill, SC; daughter, Becky (James) Fuller of Florence; brothers, Neville (Olgia) Williams of Florence; grandchildren, Brooke (Aniello) Saviano, Cody Fuller, Ethan Fuller, April Williams, Tara (Gary) Lavery; and great grandchildren, Landon, Trey and Summer.
