Billy Luckett, 68, passed away Friday, June 12, 2009, at his home in Jackson. Visitation will be Sunday, June 14, 2009, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be held Monday, June 15, 2009, at Lakeshore Congregational Methodist Church in Byram at 11 a.m.\ \ Mr. Luckett was born January 24, 1941 in Canton, Miss. to Robert and Susie Luckett. Mr. Luckett was a Millwright and welder and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.\ \ Mr. Luckett is survived by his wife Nelda Luckett of Jackson; sons Robert Luckett of Jackson, Daughter: Lisa Grantham of Florence; Stepdaughter Sharon Halats of San Antonio, Texas, and stepson Cole Taylor of Memphis, Tenn.; and brothers Mike Luckett of Madison, and Bob Luckett of Greensboro, NC.; along with four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.\
