Billy Leon Harris

Billy L. Harris, 73, died Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Regency Hospital in Jackson. Billy was born April 24, 1939 in Harrisville, MS to Milton and Gladys Harris. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Monday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. A graveside service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Learned.\ \ Billy was a 1958 graduate of Forest Hill High School and then served in the MS National Guard.He was a charter member of Choctaw Bass Masters. He was a long time employee of Bordens and retired from Frito Lay. After retiring, he and his wife moved to Learned, MS.\ \ Billy was preceded in death by his parents. His is survived by his wife, Virginia of Learned; son, Greg of Jackson; daughters, Delaine Clark (James) of Florence and Denise Whitten of Grenada; brother, Garland Harris (Debbie) of Crystal Spring; sister, Betty Adcock (Prentiss) of Richland; eleven grandchildren; and step children, Dennis Hall (Bilanne), and Letena King (Jimmy).\
