Blanche Schillings

Mrs. Blanche Clark Schillings, 71 died on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at her home in Mendenhall. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 12, 2009 at Chancellor Funeral in Florence from 5-7 p.m. with services at 7 p.m. Graveside services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Herman Cemetery in Mt. Herman, LA.\ \ Mrs. Schillings worked as housekeeping manager at several hotels in the Jackson area for over 30 years. Her favorite pastimes were her flowers and dogs. She was of the Baptist faith.\ \ She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Cassie Clark; daughter, Sarah Ellis and husband, Wayne Schillings.\ \ She is survived by son, Michael Schillings of Baton Rouge, LA; daughters: Margaret (Robert) Leggett of Mendenhall, and Brenda Disher of Florence; brother, Robert Clark of Jessup, GA; sisters: Faye Nash of Jessup, GA and Lynn Abbott of Atlanta, GA; 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.\
