Bobby “Bob” Ray Marble, 75, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2014 in Terry. Visitation will be 5-8pm Friday, August 22, 2014 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 10am Saturday, August 23, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Terry. Mr. Marble was a lifelong resident of Terry. Retiring after 25 years of service with the Jackson Fire Departmant, he went on to the Air Guard as a firefighter at Jackson Municipal Airport. He was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. Mr. Marble was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Terry, where he was a former deacon and usher. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He is preceded in death by his parents James Blair Marble and Thelma Grace Bazoon Marble. Survivors include his wife of 52 years Gloria Williams Marble; son Blair Marble of Terry; daughter Renee Marble of Crystal Springs; sister Ann Simmons of Clinton; grandchildren Hartman Marble Wright and Alanna Brooke Marble.
