Mr. Bobbie Hayes Lewis

Mr. Bobbie Hayes Lewis, 74, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at his residence in Terry, MS. Mr. Lewis was born in Brandon, MS and spent his childhood in Braxton, MS with his eleven brothers and sisters. His mother, Mrs. Emma Johnson Lewis died when Mr. Bobbie was very young. His father, Mr. Estes Lewis, finished raising Mr. Bobbie and his siblings. In 1969 Mr. Lewis married the love of his life, Mrs. Linda Davis Lewis. They celebrated fifty years of marriage earlier this year. His priority in life was his family: his wife, his children, his grandchildren, and his great grandchildren. He was a proud member of the United States Marine Corp who served valiantly in Vietnam. Mr. Lewis enjoyed fishing, his dog, Freckles, riding around on his ATV, and being by himself. His parents and eight siblings preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Linda Davis Lewis of Terry, MS; son, Bobby Brian (Nancy) Lewis of Terry MS; daughter, Linda “Lynn” (Ramon) Nolan of Pearl, MS; brothers, James Lewis of Parris Island, South Carolina, and J.B. Lewis of Braxton, MS; sisters, Lee Bullock of Braxton, and Sue Bridges; nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
