Bobbie Sue Loper left this earth to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 4, 2023, at her home in Richland, MS. She was 96 years old.

Ms. Bobbie was born on October 23, 1927, to Aubrey and Cynthia Shoemake in Jones County, MS. She lived most of her life in the Jackson area but has lived in Richland for the past 8 years where she was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. She was a mother first and foremost, raising 5 children, 5 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. She loved her family, the Lord, her church, and animals. Especially cats and dogs. She retired from Kmart after 16 years of service. She always worked, even after retirement. Throughout most of her life she worked 2 jobs at a time to provide for her family. Bobbie enjoyed sewing, cooking, and teaching Bible Study.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents; son, Aubrey Victor Loper; daughter, Cynthia Diana Loesser; 4 great grandchildren; grandson, Patrick Steven Kuriger brother, Gary Seth Shoemake.  She is survived by her daughters, Gloria Kuriger (John) of Richland, MS, and Wanda Neese of Richland, MS; son, Bobby Richard Loper of Jackson, MS; 15 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.
