Mrs. Bobbie Rae Thompson

Bobbie Rae Thompson, 90, passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 01, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, MS. Mrs. Thompson was born on August 04, 1930 in Jackson, MS to W.A. Martin and Jennie Womack Martin. She worked at School Pictures as a supervisor for 35 years. Bobbie always kept a big garden. In her younger years, she also enjoyed cooking, baking, and fishing. Most of all, she loved camping with her husband, Allen. As she got older, she spent more time in her recliner watching and ordering things from QVC. Mrs. Thompson was a member of Raymond Rd. Baptist Church. Along with her husband of 45 years, Allen M. Thompson, Sr., she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Mindy Thompson; sisters, Juanita Ferguson, Virginia Ainsworth, and Jackie Magee; and brother, Vernon Martin. She is survived by her sons, Allen (Rita) Thompson of Brandon and Ricky Thompson of Jackson; daughter, Tammie (Randy) Clark of Brandon; sisters, Shirley Martin (T.J.) Hare and Freddie Martin (John) Perkins; grandchildren, Trey Thompson, Kayla Clark, and Blake (Lindsey) Clark; and great-grandchild, Collins Clark.
