Mr. Bobby Ray Buckley

Bobby Ray Buckley, 73, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015 at his home in Florence. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 17th from 5-8 PM at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence and Wednesday, March 18th from 10 AM until the 11 AM Funeral Service at First Baptist Church of Richland. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories. Mr. Buckley lived most of his life in the Florence/ Richland area and was an active member of First Baptist Church of Richland. He was a Master Plumber by trade and a member of Big River Classic Car Club. He was a loving husband and father that loved woodworking and antique cars. Mr. Buckley was preceded in death by his parents, Alford and Marzie Buckley; sister, Peggy Prassel; and brother, Louie Buckley. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Jessie Daniel Buckley of Florence; daughters, Vickie Buckley (Doug) Ross of Florence and Denise Buckley (Ken) May of Florence; step children, Jimmy Glen “Buddy” (Anna Katharine) Moore of Oak Grove and Debra Kay (Quniton) Gibson of Jackson; brothers, Willie Buckley of Madison, James Buckley of Hazlehurst, Ervin Buckley of Raymond, and Michael Buckley of Hazlehurst; sister, Doris McDavid of Brandon , 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jaquith Nursing Home.
