Mr. Bobby Carroll Grantham

Bobby Carroll Grantham, 76, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at the University of MS Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be Saturday, October 13th from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. Funeral Service at First Baptist Church of Braxton. Burial will follow at Braxton Cemetery. Mr. Grantham was born November 29, 1941 in Jackson, the son of the late Elery and Lydia Grantham. He was an employee of the State of MS and worked in the ABC office for over 30 years before he retired with the State Tax Commission. In his spare time, he was a potter and an artist. Bobby married Patsy Copeland on June 14, 1980. Mr. Grantham leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 38 years, Patsy Grantham of Braxton; children, Johnny Harrison of Jackson, Andy Harrison of Florida and Monica (Darin) Howell of Florence; sister, Eleese Addison of Terry; 2 granddaughters, 2 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. “God saw you getting weary, so He did what He thought was best. He came and stood beside you and whispered, I am always with you.”
