Bobby Jones, Sr

Mr. Bobby Fred Jones, Sr. passed into glory on Sunday, February 23, 2024, after a short illness.  During his lifetime he was a fireman with the city of Jackson, MS. He also was a cabinetmaker and residential home builder.  He served as a deacon and choir director at Emmanuel Baptist Church.

 He leaves behind his wife, Mattie Ann Rather Jones and two sons, Bobby F. Jones, Jr. and Charles Alan Jones, as well as, 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

 He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and 1 brother.

 Visitation will be at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram from 9am until 10am, with a Graveside Service at Floral Hills Memory Garden in Pearl at 10:30am.
