Bobby Wayne Vail, 64, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019 after an accident at his deer camp in Lorman, MS. Visitation will be 9-11am Monday, January 21, 2019 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Graveside services will follow at 11:30am Monday at Lakewood Memorial Park. Bobby, born in Eupora, MS, was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Vietnam era. He retired after 35 years of loyal service with the U.S. Postal Service. Bobby was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and traveling with his family. He was selfless in the giving of his time when someone was in need, always ready to lend a hand. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. He is preceded in death by his son, Matthew Vail and mother, Laura M. Vail. Survivors include his loving wife Janet Vail of Raymond; daughter, Melanie Vail Fuller (Shane) of Raymond; father, Calvin Vail of Jackson; sister, Joyce Vail Lott (Winston) of Pearl; brothers, Johnny Vail (Debra) of Flowood and Danny Vail (Shirley) of Crystal Springs; nieces, Jennifer Vail and Lisa Vail Sanders; nephews, Jason Lott and Michael Vail. He leaves behind a host of family and friends.
