Bobbye Lynn Anderson Raymond

Bobbye Lynn Anderson Raymond went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 13, 2024, in Jackson, MS. She was 87 years old. The family will receive friends and extended family for visitation from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, and again from 9:00-10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Marvin United Methodist Church in Florence, MS. The service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with interment following at Florence City Cemetery in Florence, MS.

Mrs. Bobbye was born on March 29, 1937, to Robert L. Anderson and Marie Ruffin Anderson in Memphis, TN. She has lived in the Florence community since 1965 where she was an active member of Marvin United Methodist Church for many years. She loved her church dearly and loved teaching Bible School there. Mrs. Bobbye loved quilting, sewing, cooking, working in the garden, and listening to gospel singing. She also enjoyed fishing. Mrs. Bobbye was dedicated to raising and loving her family. She will truly be missed.

Mrs. Bobbye is preceded in death by her parents and one half brother. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Ole Raymond of Florence; children, Sonny Raymond (Norma) of Florence, Ross Raymond (Jan) of Florence, Sondra Cline (Tony) of Florence, and Robbie Raymond (Nicole) of Florence; 5 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
