Bobby Ray Thrasher

\ Bobby Ray Thrasher, 69, passed away at his home Friday June 17, 2011.\ Visitation will be 5 until 7 Sunday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence and Monday from 12:00 noon until the 1:00 PM funeral service at Trinity Baptist Church, Florence. Burial will follow at Raleigh North Cemetery, Raleigh, MS.\ \ Mr. Thrasher had lived in the Florence area for the past 13 years, moving here from South Jackson. He worked for the Mississippi Industries for the Blind, Retired from Hinds County Central Repair, and was self employed with Rainbow Enterprises. \ He was a 32 degree Mason with the Capitol Lodge and a Wahabi Temple Shriner. He enjoyed restoring old cars and riding motorcycles. Mr. Thrasher was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church where he had a heart for the children, loved its people, and was always helping others.\ \ He is preceded in death by his parents Elra Lee and Sallie Thrasher and his first wife "Kitty".\ \ He is survived by his wife Shirley Thrasher; Daughter Susan (Macky)...
