Bonnie Smith Brooks,88 , a faithful servant, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at MBMC in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-8pm Friday, November 26, 2010 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 10am Saturday, November 27, 2010 in the funeral home chapel with a one hour visitation prior to the service. Interment will follow at Lakewood South.\ \ Mrs. Brooks was born in Franklin County, MS on March 25, 1922 to Sam and Joanna Jenkins Smith. She lived all her adult life in South Jackson, working for years with her late husband Claude, at their business Brooks Trailer Repair. Mrs. Brooks was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and the most important part of life to her was family.\ \ Survivors include her sons, Dodds (Jenny) Cupit of Los Crucaz, NM, Robert (Gayle) Cupit of Harris, MN and Jerry (Pat) Cupit of Gravious Mills, MO; daughter, Carolyn (Jimmy) Kreps of Richland; brothers, Rayford and Roger Smith, both of Natchez; 12 grandchildren and 17 great...
