Bonnie Davis

Mrs. Bonnie Luckey Davis, 74, passed away Friday, August 17, 2012 at Briar Hill Rest Home in Florence. Visitation will be Sunday, August 19th from 5-8pm and Monday, August 20th from 10am until the 11am service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Holly Grove Baptist Church in Braxton.\ \ Mrs. Davis, known as "Mime" has resided in Braxton since 1982. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother who never met a stranger. She spent most of her life as a seamstress. \ \ Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, John Harrison Davis, Sr.; her son, John Harrison Davis, Jr.; and by her siblings, Clifton Luckey, Jack Luckey and Ella High. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Smith of Florence; her mother-in-law, Freddie Mae Davis of Braxton; her sisters, Bobbie Lowery of Florence, Claudie Rogers of Taylorsville, and Faye Welborn of Mize; 3 grandchildren, Spencer Smith, Abby Smith and Cole Smith; one great grandson, Hayes Roberts; and a large loving family.\
