Bowlin Gene

Mr. Gene Bowlin, 79, passed away Friday afternoon March 27, 2009 at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg. Funeral services will be held Monday March 30th at 2pm in the chapel of Chancellor Funeral Home Byram. Visitation will be from 12 noon until service time.\ \ Gene was the son of the late Cecil L. Bowlin and Ella Bowlin, born in Liberty, MS. He was a member of Star Baptist Church and a Mason. Owner and operator of Mississippi Termite Control and Bowlin Foundation Repair. He loved too fish, garden, and travel.\ \ Survivors include his wife Betty Bowlin of Vicksburg; daughter Rene Bowlin Thrasher of Clinton; sons William E. (Donna) Bowlin of Terry, William Glenn (Betty Sue) Bowlin of Crowder and Wayne (Vickie) Bowlin of Brandon; sister Katherine Beatty of Brandon: grandchildren Bobby Bowlin, Frances Johnson, Natasha Johns, Jessica Thrasher and Emily Bowlin; great grandchildren Bobby Wayne Bowlin, Farrah Johnson and Rivers Johns. Memorial maybe made to the Mississippi Diabetes Foundation.\ \ \
