Bracey C. Summers, Sr.,78, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be 4-7pm Thursday, November 18, 2010, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 11am Friday, November 19, 2010, at Raymond Road Baptist Church with a one hour visitation prior to service at the church. Interment will follow at Springridge United Methodist Church Cemetery.\ \ Mr. Summers was a lifelong resident of Jackson, born March 10, 1932, to Gambrell C. and Lois Harrell Summers. He was a 1956 graduate of Forest Hill High School, where he played basketball and held the title of Mr. Forest Hill. Mr. Summers was a four year U.S. Air Force Veteran, who had a passion for bowling at Paradise Lanes, winning the gold medal in Senior Olympics. He loved to travel, having been to most of the states, was an avid gardener and member of Raymond Road Baptist Church.\ \ Survivors include his wife Roberta Williams Summers of Jackson; son Bracey (Bridget) Summers, Jr. of Gulfport; daughters, Angela (Michael) Palmer of Mobile, AL and Gina (Michael) Yost of Madison; brother, Karl (Doris) Summers of Jackson; grandchildren, Ashley (Seth) Lirette, Kate Yost, Jenny Yost, Emma Palmer, Andrew Palmer, Tristan Summers, Olivia Palmer and Serenity Summers.\
