Mr. Bracie Lee Lewis, 89, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 at his home in Harrisville surrounded by his family. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 10 a.m. until the service begins at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Due to the current guidelines regarding gatherings, mask or facial coverings must be worn and social distancing is encouraged. Mr. Lewis was an active member of Antioch Baptist Church since 1960. He was a maintenance electrician and retired from Lindsey Wire after 31 years of service. He was a hard worker who enjoyed raising cattle and loved working his farm. He was a loving husband and father. He was a giving man that always provided for his family and anyone in need. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers Frank B. Lewis, Marvin Lewis, and James Lewis, Twin sister Macie Vee Lewis Wilson, Great Grandson Hayden Matthew, Sons-in-laws Chris Rickels and Carl Cranford. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 70 years, Carlene White Lewis; two sons, Windell Lee (Lisa) Lewis of Brandon, Michael Wayne (Candi) Lewis of Harrisville; four daughters, Edith Kay (Harold) Ross of Florence, Freda Darlene Cranford of Hazlehurst, Beverly Karen (Eddie) Spruiell of Hayden AL, and Teresa Ann (Charles) Barber of Florence, Numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
