Breazeale Ralph W.

Ralph W. Breazeale, 81 , passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at MBMC in Jackson.\ Visitation will be 5-8pm Friday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram and 1:00pm until the 2:00pm service time Saturday at First Baptist Church in Terry. Interment will follow in Terry Cemetery.\ \ Mr. Breazeale was born August 15, 1926 in Sunflower County, MS. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and retired from the MS Highway Safety Patrol in 1981 after 26 ½ years of service. He was a member of the Pearl River Carvers Club, Gideons International and served in World Changers and Southern Baptist Convention Emergency Response Teams, including the 911 relief efforts. Mr. Breazeale also served on mission trips in Mexico and Hondouras and was a member and deacon at First Baptist Church in Terry.\ \ He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Everette and Grace Oliver Breazeale; sister, Carolyn Eastland and brothers, Maurice and Malcolm Breazeale.\ \ Survivors included his wife of 53 years Patsy L. Breazeale; daughters, Patricia Garrett of Bentonia, Nancy Thaxton and husband Mark of Gallman, Laura Morgan of Clinton; sisters, Elaine Brown of Gulfport, Virginia Wheat of Meridian, Ann Breazeale of Jackson; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and 2 on the way.\ \ Donations may be made to Brotherhood at First Baptist Church, Terry or the Church Building Fund.
