Mrs. Brenda Polk, 53, of Pearl, MS, died Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 8 P.M. Tuesday and from 1 until the 3:00 P.M. Service time on Wednesday at Chancellor Funeral home in Florence. Interment will be in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park Cemetery at Chancellor Funeral Home.\ \ She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Tommie Polk; son, Jamie Powell and wife Kandis of Richland; daughter, Ashley Jennings of Flowood; brothers: Wesley and Travis Pylant both of Calhoun, LA; sisters: Evelyn Brehm of Longview, TX and Jessie Mae Holland of Bernice, LA; 5 grandchildren: Preston, Luke and Brooklyn Powell, Ryan Jennings and Hunter Fortenberry.
