Mrs. Brenda Kay Taylor

Brenda Kay Taylor, 66, passed away at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. There will be a family led memorial service held at 5:00 PM on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Macedonia Baptist Church in Louisville, MS. Brenda was born to the late Frank and Francis Wood in New Albany, MS on January 24, 1952. She has lived in Louisville, MS for the last 12 years where she was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening. Brenda was an avid QVC fan. She was a strong fighter right up till her last breath. Mrs. Taylor is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Claudy Ray Taylor, her daughter, Mona Burkhalter, and two sisters, Sarah Bishop and Charlene Gray. She is survived by three daughters, Lynn (Tim) Harrell of Pelahatchie, Jessica (Chase) Hanna of Louisville and Aleah (Stephen Dunn) Dancy of Madison and one sister, Linda Adcox of Pelahatchie. She was Nana to 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
