Brenda Thames

Mrs. Brenda Thames, 69, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 21, 2011 at Methodist Rehabilitation Center in Jackson. Visitation is 3-5 pm Sunday, January 23 and 10 am until the 11am service time on Monday, January 24 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Interment will be in Garden of Memories.\ \ Mrs. Thames spent most of her life in Jackson where she was a medical secretary for many physicians in the area. She was a loving wife, mother and Nana.\ \ Mrs. Thames is preceded in death by her parents E. F. and Maudie Watkins and sons Brad and Jeffrey Thames. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Dalton Thames, daughters Lisa Thames of Houston, TX and Julie Jones (Ben) of Florence, MS, brother James Watkins (Christine) of Austin, TX and 2 grandchildren; Taylor Jones and Ian Thames.\
