Mrs. Brenda Helen Walton

Mrs. Brenda Helen Walton passed into the arms of Jesus on Monday, November 22, 2021 at her home in Florence. She was 76 years old. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, November 26th from 10:00 -11:00 a.m. with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. She will be laid to rest at Overstreet Cemetery following the service. Brenda was born February 22, 1945 to I. W. and Edna Earl Overstreet in Hattiesburg, MS. Brenda loved God, her family and her church, Full Gospel Fellowship. She was a servant of God and anyone He put in her path. She was a Prayer Warrior throughout her life and she ministered to others with a servant’s heart. A selfless and generous woman, she was a wonderful musician who played piano and sang in churches all over the country. Brenda was preceded in death by her father, I.W. Overstreet and her mother, Edna Overstreet; grandson, Christopher Martin; brother, Ronald Earl Overstreet, and aunt Lillian Creel. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Danny Walton of Florence; daughters, Sherri (David) Kleinhans of Pearl, Debbie (Phillip) Huff of Florence, Beverly (Harry) Bates of Florence, Cindy Martin of Jackson, and Rebecca (Ryan) Engel of Florence; sons, Paul Ford of Florence and Duane Walton of Florence; grandchildren, Jennifer (Bill) Pettus, Lauren ( Scott) Berryhill, Coady (Audrey) Baggett, P.K. (Katie) Huff, Laura ( Aaron) Toles, Lindsay Huff, Jonathan Bates, Brandon Martin, Preston Engel, Aaron Engel, P.J. Ford, Christy Ford, J.D. Ford, and Katelyn Ford; 16 great grandchildren; and brothers, Danny (Nancy) Overstreet of Florence and William (Kathy, deceased) Overstreet.
