Charlotte Faye Parker Brown passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at her home after a lengthy battle with cancer. Visitation will be 5-8pm Thursday and 10 until the 11 am funeral service Friday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.\ \ Charlotte was born in Jackson in 1941 to A.B. and Lilla Tramel Parker. She graduated from Central High School in 1959 and attended Hinds Junior College. In 1961 she married Jack D. Brown and together they enjoyed traveling throughout the southeast in their 1938 Chevrolet coupe attending car shows. Charlotte was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and was retired from the MS Employment Security Commission, where she had worked for more than 25 yrs in the Unemployment Insurance Technical Service Dept. \ \ She is preceded in death by her father, Mr. A.B. Parker. Survivors include husband, Jack D. Brown, of Terry; daughters, Karen (Ronnie) Goodson and Kathy (Tommy) Purser and 4 grandchildren, all of Byram; mother, Lilla T. Parker, of Clinton; brother, Randy (Lisa) Parker, of Clinton and her loving pet, Critter.\ \ Memorials may be made to the Susan G.
