Bruce L Keith

Bruce Lavon Keith born October 12, 1963 to the late Lavon and Patsy Keith of Purvis, MS, passed away on January 24, 2025. Bruce attended Wingfield Highschool where he graduated in 1981. He furthered his education at Mississippi State University with a degree in Industrial Technology and went on to Mississippi College to pursue a Masters in Business. Bruce started his career working at Georgia Pacific in Pearl, MS, as the branch manager for 20 years and worked at ABF Freight as a supervisor for 16 years.

Bruce enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, traveling with his wife, being outdoors, and taking sunset cruises on his pontoon boat. Bruce was a loyal friend, understanding father, compassionate follower of Christ and lover of God's Word. He has left a lasting impression on all of the people in his life. 

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Tommye Landers Keith of Terry, MS; Son, Jacob (Macy) Keith of Madison, MS; Daughters, Karley (Colton) Brown of Crystal Springs, MS and Ashley Keith of Brandon, MS. Grandchildren Myles (8), Lane (5), Mason (4) and Annelise (1). His sisters, Nancy Magee (Marty) of Brandon, MS, Rebecca "Becky" Stuart of Hattiesburg, MS and Cynthia "Cindy" Keith of Sumrall, MS, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lavon and Patsy Keith, his father-in-law, J.T. Hurtt and nephew, Matthew Miller. 

Bruce will be missed by the many people whose lives he has touched.
