Mr. Carl Allbritton 73 passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019 at home surrounded by his loving family. Visitation 10am Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Raymond. Funeral services are 11am Tuesday at the church with interment to follow in Lakewood Memorial Park. Carl was a longtime resident of Raymond, loved the Lord and was a faithful member of First Baptist Church. He enjoyed working in his yard and being outdoors, and he loved NASCAR. He was well known around Raymond as “The Man on the golf cart” and also for his delicious dressing at Thanksgiving. He was preceded in death by his parents Carey and Beatrice Allbritton, his brothers; Charles Allbritton and Jack Mucklerath and a sister Dorothy Hitt. He leaves behind his wife of 30 years Sarah Buford Allbritton, his sons; Mac Alford, Jr (Suzanne) of Terry, Danny Alford (Tina) of Terry , Tommy Alford (Tammy) of Terry and Scotty Alford (Ken) of Hattiesburg, his sister, Lucy Lawrence, a niece; Debbie Bayles (Kevin), grandchildren; Malcom Alford III, Blake Alford, Brandon Alford, Kyle Alford, Lauren Smith, Garrett Windham and Mallory Alford, and 3 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or a charity of your choice.
