Carol “Nonnie” Miller, 71, passed into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at her home in Florence. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, December 12th from 10:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. Funeral Service at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Florence. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl. Carol was born August 31, 1949 in Peoria, IL to the late Dave and Hazel Manning. She was from the Richland and Florence areas and was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She worked as a dedicated nurse for 34 years. She was a God-Fearing woman and her faith was of the upmost importance to her. She never let an opportunity pass that she wouldn’t let somebody know about Jesus. More importantly, she lived out her faith and was a true servant of Christ. She was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother and was affectionally known as “Nonnie” to every child she met. She loved life and was so full of life! Along with her parents, Carol is also preceded in death by her daughter, Audra Joyce White; brothers, David Dean Manning, David Manning, Jr., and Lawrence Williams, Jr.; and sisters, Betty Lucille Lewis and Barbara Joyce Manning. She is survived by her son, Michael White of Florence; daughter, Charlotte (Glen) McCaffrey of Florence; grandchildren, Trey McCaffrey, Jason (Katie) McCaffrey, Riley (Kalyn) White, and Abby White; and 5 great grandchildren with 1 on the way.
