Carolyn Massey Jacobs

Carolyn Jean Massey Jacobs, 74, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016 at her home in New Braunfels, TX. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 22nd from 6-8 PM and Wednesday, November 23rd from 1:00 PM until the 2:00 PM Funeral Service all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories. Mrs. Jacobs was born June 10, 1942 in Meridian, MS to Elston Earl and Bessie Kirkland Massey. She worked with her husband for many years at Capital City’s Printing before becoming a homemaker later in life. Mrs. Jacobs is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jesse Jacobs; her mother, Bessie Pearson; and by her brother, Jimmy Massey. She is survived by her son, Dwayne (Debbie) Jacobs of New Braunfels, TX; daughters, Cindy (James) Rebillard of Shreveport, LA; Penny (Phil) Lewis of Florence, and Lisa Weaver of New Braunfels, TX; brother, Ray Massey of Florence; sisters, Margaret (Theron) Smith of Meridian and Irene (Charles) Paige of Meridian; sister-in-law, Nita Massey of Pearl; 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and In-laws.
