Carolyn Shaw\ Jackson\ \ Carolyn Shaw, 70, died Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the Care Center of Clinton.\ \ Visitaion is scheduled for 4:00 P.M. Until 8:00 P.M. Monday, January 19, 2009 at Chancellor Funeral Home, Byram. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Lakewood south Cemetery.\ \ Born in Star, MS, Mrs. Shaw lived in South Jackson for over Forty Years and was a homemaker. She was a former member of the Forest Hill Baptist Church.\ \ She is survived by her son, Jerry Shaw of Florence; Her daughters, Theresa Gordon of Jackson and Tina Thomason of Brandon; Two Brothers, Charlie Sykes of Jackson and Calvin Sykes of Flora; Her sister Mildred martin of Flora; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren…\
