Services for Catherine Whittington Cooper will be held at 3:00pm Sunday, February 27, 2011, at Chancellor Funeral Home, Byram, Mississippi, with Dr. John Pace officiating, assisted by Reverend Curt Pace. A gathering of friends will be held from 1:00pm-3:00pm prior to the service Sunday. Burial will be in Terry Cemetery.\ Mrs. Cooper, born May 24, 1925, in Hinds County, Mississippi, went to her eternal home on Thursday, February 24, 2011, at Anderson Hospital, Meridian, Mississippi.\ Mrs. Cooper was a life-long resident of Terry, Mississippi and a member of Terry Baptist Church. She retired after a long career with Hederman Brothers Printing in Jackson, Mississippi. She was active in several groups in Terry, including Terry Garden Club, Silver Belles and her bunco and card groups. She had resided at Aldersgate Retirement Center, Meridian, Mississippi, for the past five years. She participated in all activities and was well-loved by staff and residents alike, but her heart remained with her buddies in Terry and she cherished those memories until the very end.\ She will be dearly missed by her son Marty (Jeannie) Moore, her three daughters Wickie (Butch) Thomas, Joyce (Sam) Alexander and Dannice (Dave) Stockstill, her grandchildren Ronnie Thomas, Robbie Thomas and Reggie (Ambra) Thomas, Rheagan Alexander, Emily (Jason) Murley, Bonnie Smith, Timothy (Tam) Moore, Samantha (Mark) Noto, Serina Smith, Lacie (Jordan) Panich, Cassie (Ross) Armstrong, her great-grandchildren Bailey (Sam) Turner, Skyler Thomas, Ben Thomas, Saige Thomas, River Thomas, Agi Thomas, Bleu Thomas, Auston Thomas, Gage Thomas, Colby Thomas, Parker Thomas, Kayla Rogers, Lance Rogers, Mia Bella Noto, Phoenix Moore, Sophia Moore, Brayden Armstrong , and great-great- grandchildren Sophia Thomas and Sadie Turner.\ She was preceded in death by her husband, James F.
