Catherine "Kitty" Foster Parish

Catherine “Kitty” Foster Parish, 84, went to be with the Lord Saturday, February 11, 2022 surrounded by her family. The family will receive friends Monday, February 14, 2022 from 5pm until 8 pm and again Tuesday, February 15, 2022 beginning at 10 am and continuing until the 11 am Funeral service in the Chapel of Chancellor Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 1:30 pm in Oakvale Methodist Church Cemetery in Covington County. Catherine was born April 25, 1937 in Lawrence County , Mississippi to Robert and Myrtis Daughdrill Foster. Kitty as she was known by her family and friends, enjoyed gardening, fishing and loved working with her flowers. She loved the lord and when able loved to attend church. She loved her family but especially loved spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Parish retired after many years working for the Mississippi Highway Patrol. Those preceding her in death were her parents, her husband of 39 years, Loyd Parish; son, Ben Parish and daughter in law Betsy Parish. Her family left to cherish her memory are her sons, Glen Parish of Raymond, Lynn (Marie) Parish of Raymond; sisters, Margaret Walker of Madison, Maybell Benson of Richland, Dot (Michael) Rodriguez of Franklin, LA; grandchildren Trenton Parish, Kori Parish Tony (Heather) Parish, Kristy (Pat) Kelly; great grandchildren, Conner Parish, Addyson Kelly, Peyton Kelly, Kathryn Alice Parish and Jon Aiden Parish.
