Catherine Crisler "Cris" Winter

Catherine "Cris" Stanley Winter passed into God's glory on April 14th, 2013 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Catherine Stanley of Dallas, her Aunt Marie Biglane of Natchez, and her grandson Logan Mitchell of Jackson. She is survived by her husband Buck Winter of Byram; Daughter Amy Hendry Barnes with husband Christopher Barnes and granddaughters Eva and Gwen of Tempe, AZ; Son C.J. Hendry with wife Adriene Dillard Hendry and granddaughters Peighton and Paisley of Petal, MS. Cris was a book keeper for many Jackson area businesses, and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. After being diagnosed with cancer, she volunteered at many local cancer charities including, the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be 4pm-6pm Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram with a memorial service beginning at 6pm.
