Cazy Gene Odom

Cazy Gene Odom, affectionately known as Buster, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2023. He was born on July 8, 1953, to Cazy Marion Odom and Oneida Staires Odom of Jackson.

Buster was a business owner in the construction industry for many years. He was an avid fan of NASCAR, he followed the sport closely and found excitement in every race.  But it was his love for riding his motorcycle that truly ignited his spirit and gave him a sense of freedom unlike any other.  He lived a life filled with passion and cherished moments. His friendly and magnetic personality endeared him to all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with him.

Buster's devotion to his family was immeasurable. He was a loving husband to Denise Odom until her passing and they shared a bond built on trust, support, and unconditional love. Together, they weathered life's storms and celebrated its triumphs as they navigated the journey of marriage side by side.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cazy Marion Odom; his wife, Denise, and two brothers.

Buster leaves behind cherished memories that will forever be treasured by those closest to him. He is survived by his son Doug Odom (Heather) of Washington and daughter Carolyn Bridgers (Darren) of Raymond. He also leaves behind five adoring grandchildren: Cody, Colin, Jasmine, Shelby, and Kaitlyn. They were the light of his life and brought him boundless joy.
