Mrs. Charlene Yvonne Gregorich

Charlene Yvonne (Stifter) Gregorich, 76, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-8pm Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 10am Thursday, April 26 at St. Peter’s Cathedral in Jackson. Mrs. Gregorich was born in Sharon PA to the late Peter and Helen Stifter. A longtime resident of the Jackson area, she retired from Packard Electric after 30 years of loyal service. Mrs. Gregorich, a parishioner of St. Peter’s, volunteered there in many capacities and also with the Jackson Crisis Line and at St. Dominic Hospital in the cardiac unit. She was a great cook, known for her coconut cake and enjoyed music and playing the dulcimer. Mrs. Gregorich loved Mardi Gras and adored her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband of 35 years, Robert Gregorich, Sr. Survivors include her son Robert Gregorich (Tiffaney) of Raymond; daughter, Helene Gregorich of New Orleans, LA; brother, Francis Stifter of Brookfield, OH; sisters, Carole Vanshack of Brookfield, OH and Cherie Jenkins of Vienna, OH; grandchildren, Jax and Haley Gregorich and her faithful friend her schnauzer “Mopsy”.
