Mrs. Charlene Frances Wroten

Charlene Frances Wroten, 80, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-8pm Thursday, November 16 and 10am until the 11am funeral service Friday, November 17, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park. Charlene was born in Birmingham, AL to the late Charles and Geneva Standard Little. She was a longtime resident of the Jackson area retiring as a dedicated nurse, having worked at MS Baptist Medical Center and Woman’s Hospital. Charlene was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family and enjoyed going to her grandchildren’s softball games. She was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray Wroten; grandson, Chase Wroten and Brother James Little. Survivors include her son Michael Wroten (Elizabeth) of Terry; daughters, Sherry Arrington (Johnny) of Terry and Dianne Richardson (Ricky) of Rankin County; brothers, Bob Little (Trish) of Jackson and Ben Little of Byram; sister, Shirley Rogers (Tommy) of Jackson; three grandchildren, Stephanie, Stephen and Ashley; 10 great grandchildren and her faithful companion her Schnauzer “Willow”.
