Charles Baker

Charles A. "Charlie" Baker, 81, of Brandon, MS, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at St. Dominic Hospital. Visitation will be 9:30 AM Wednesday at Parkway Memorial Chapel, Ridgeland, MS until the funeral services at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Parkway Memorial Cemetery in Ridgeland, MS.\ \ Charles was born April 28, 1928 and raised in Hot Spring County, AR to the late A. V. and Nancy Collie Baker. After graduation from Glen Rose High School, Charles served in Korea during the Korean War as a member of the United States Army, Company E, 32nd Infantry. Charles worked for National Lead where he met Virginia Scott whom he married on March 05, 1954. He later moved his family to Loves Park, IL in 1965 where he worked for Barber Coleman Company / Phauter-Maag until retirement in 1989.
