Mr. Charles Manley Hood

Charles Manley Hood, 71, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016 at his home in Florence. Visitation was Tuesday, March 22nd from 5-7 PM and will be Wednesday from 11 AM until the 12 PM Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Mr. Hood was a long time resident of Florence and was of the Baptist faith. He was employed with Fountain Electric of over 30 years and was a Master Mason and member of the Evening Star Lodge #70 in Florence. He was an avid hunter, loved to scuba dive, and was an all-time sportsman. Mr. Hood is survived by his children, Jessica Hood West (James) of Jacksonville FL and their children Ansley and Madison West; Christina Boteler (Kirby) and their son, Louis; Ashley Sheesley (Brian) and their daughters, Kaitlyn and Danielle; and Renae Chandler and her children, Josh, Hannah, and Jacob; and sister, Dale Aycock (Henry) from GA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Mississippi.
