Charles Martin

Charles Martin, 74 , passed away Monday, June 2, 2008 at his home in Florence. Visitation will be 5-8pm Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 10am Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in\ Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in the Old Pearl Community.\ \ Mr. Martin was born June 18, 1933 to Carl Paul and Etta Irene Sellers Martin in Copiah County. He had been in the asphalt business for 30 years and was owner of Asphalt Construction. Mr. Martin was a member of Central Baptist Church in Byram where he was a deacon and Sunday School teacher.\ \ Survivors include his wife Shirley Martin of Florence; sons, David Martin (Nancy), Mike Martin (Martha) and Jerry Martin (Melinda) all of Florence;mother, Etta Irene Martin of Byram; brother, Don Joe Martin of Byram and six grandchildren.\ \ On line guest book available at www.chancellorfuneralhome.com.\ \
