Mr. Charles Mayo

Charles Lamar Mayo, 73, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Central MS Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be 10am until 11:30am Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Graveside services will follow at 12:00 noon at Lakewood South. Mr. Mayo was born in Attalla County, MS to the late William Wesley Mayo and Nellie McDaniel Mayo. He had lived in Pearl for the past 45 years and was a truck driver all of his life, working for Shipper Express, Mississippi Fast Freight and Star Transportation. After Retirement, he enjoyed drinking coffee with his friends. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Nancy Mayo of Pearl; son Bill Mayo; grandchildren, Sean Mayo, Hannah Mayo, Patrick Mayo and Megan Mayo.
