Charles Moss

Mr. Charles L. Moss, 70, ended his earthly journey, Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at Crossgates-River Oaks Hospital. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Services will be Saturday at the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. \ \ Mr. Moss was currently working with Severn Trent Environmental Services after working for Penrod Drilling for 15 years and retiring with 20 years with the US Air Force. He loved his family dearly and loved to camp along with being an avid coin collector.\ \ He is survived by his wife, Alene Moss of Pearl; sons: Gary Moss of Byram and Charlie Moss of Taylorsville; daughters: Debbie (Jeff) Butler of Florence and Pamela Furrer of Pearl; one brother, Don Moss of Ridgeland; sisters: Evelyn Garber of Harrisville, PA and Pamela (Tommy) Bodker of Pearl; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.\
