Mr. Charles "Loyd" Myers

Charles “Loyd” Myers, 74, of Pearl, MS (formerly of Crystal Springs, MS) said goodbye to this world on September 18, 2014 and now is celebrating in Heaven with his Mother, Lois Cox Myers, and others who are in heaven with Jesus Christ. His wife, Bettye King Myers of Pearl (formerly of Hazlehurst, MS); his daughter, Lori Myers and her husband, Scott Dewberry of Pearl; and his son, Michael Loyd and his wife, Marlys Myers of Pearl stood proudly by him as he began his journey to leave this world and enter into the gates of The Most High God. His grandchildren, Britnee Barnett, Tanner Scott Dewberry, Brower Lee Myers and James Cameron Dewberry made their “Pop” so proud and happy. His sisters are Joy Myers Holley of Richland, Gloria Claudell Myers Yelverton of Pearl, Shirley Myers Ford of Star, and Dorothy Myers Stallard of Minnesota. His sister, Ruth Ann Myers Beard of New Orleans, LA preceded her brother in death. Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence will handle the arrangements. A celebration of his life here on earth will be at 10:30 AM on Monday, September 22, 2014 at Pearson Baptist Church in Pearl, MS with our Pastor, Calvin Williams officiating with Pastor Otis Moore of Jackson First Assembly of God.
