Mr. Charles Rodney Roberson

Charles Rodney Roberson, 80, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at River Oaks Hospital in Flowood. Visitation will be Thursday, March 12th from 5-8 p.m. and Friday, March 13th from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Mr. Charles, a true southern gentleman, was a quite, simple man that loved farming. He was a member of North Brandon Church of Christ. Mr. Roberson was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Basil Roberson; granddaughter, Christina Michelle; sister-in-law, Olive Roberson; and daughter-in-law, Sherry Carrol. He is survived by his wife, Madalyne Roberson of Brandon; sons, Rodney (Jenny) Roberson and David Roberson both of Brandon; daughters, Rhonda Cloninger of Florence and Cindy Brock of Brandon; 10 grandchildren, Robin Dixon, Nikki Welch, Ryan Shelton, Chad Roberson, Tony Roberson, Kris Brock, Chance Brock, Michael Roberson, and Zac Roberson; 6 great grand children, “D” Gorider Dixon, Scooter Dixon, Ryleigh Shelton, David Shelton, Cheyenne Welch, and Cooper Roberson; brother, Robert Roberson of Trenton, TN and a host of Nieces and Nephews. He also leaves behind a very good close family friend and driving buddy, Mr. Wallace Davis. .
