Charles Albert Slater, 64, passed away Friday, February 7, 2014 at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson. A private family Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Chancellor Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Mr. Slater is survived by his children, Kim Slater of Pearl and Phillip Winters of Jackson; brothers, Junior Slater, Joe Slater, and J.L. Slater; sisters, Lillie Mae Chisolm and Loraine Williams.
