Charles Yount

Mr. Charles Allen Yount, 67, died at St. Dominic's Hospital on Tuesday, August 18, 2009. Visitation will be Thursday, August 20, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Garden of Memories in Florence.\ \ \ Mr. Yount, a graduate of Luther College in McGregor, Iowa served his country for 4 years as Captain in the US Air Force. While in the Air Force he served as Disaster and Emergency Preparedness officer. He retired after 20 years with Ashland Oil as their accountant. He was past president of North Jackson Exchange Club, and a former member of the Forest Rotary Club. His hobbies included sports and golf.\ \ He is survived by his wife, Dawn Yount of Terry; two sons: Michael Jeffrey Yount of Owensboro, KY and Christopher Allen Yount and wife Tara of Mendenhall\
